Grand Teton: Private Sunrise Tour

The Grand Teton Sunrise Tour highlights the golden mornings of this park. A professional guide will drive your group throughout the park as they look for our local critters (e.g. bison, bears, moose, elk, pronghorn, eagles, etc) while showcasing the best spots for scenic photography. Vortex binoculars will be handed out to each guest so that up-close details won't be missed.

This tour includes a picnic brunch on the beach of Jackson Lake. All national park entrance fees are also included.

Prominent stopping points include Jenny Lake, Mormon Row, Jackson Lake, and Schwabacher Landing.

We had done a very similar route the previous year using information we found on line - doing it with Itai was a WORLD of a difference. Same route completely different experience. Itai, who we later found out has a degree in forestry from Yale, was a plethora of knowledge on the history of jackson hole, the wildlife, and the ecology. We saw buffalo, a group of moose (do you call them meese?), and a baby bear! Itai was not in a rush and gave us time to get out and take pictures at each of our stops and walk around. Last but not least, my partner is a huge fan of the film Django Unchained and along the route Itai pointed out locations where scenes from the film were shot. After the tour Itai dropped us off at one of his favorite local spots for dinner - the staff all knew him and they took great care of us. Overall it was an incredible experience that was the highlight of our entire trip. Itai’s passion for Jackson Hole bled through into every aspect of the tour and it will now be a fixture of our future trips to Jackson.
