We attended the downtown food tour with Margaret as our tour guide. It was a great way to get to know more about the history of the city, civil rights history, and food history. It was a fun and fabulous way to spend an afternoon in the city. I have lived in Atlanta since 1999 and I learned a lot information about my city that I had never heard before. Margaret was a wonderful tour guide and incredibly knowledgeable. The food was fantastic and there was plenty of it. Would definitely recommend the tour and would definitely do again.

Awesome! We love having locals join us on our tours. We try to stay off the beaten path and show guests some really great restaurants that they might not have otherwise found. We've lived the metro Atlanta area for over 30 years and this food tour was an awesome experience. Our extremely knowledgeable tour guide Margaret was a virtual Wikipedia of Atlanta history information. She made all the links from the history of Atlanta culture to the foods and drinks we were sampling. All of the food stops made us eager to return to sample even more of their yummy southern fares. There was ample time at each stop to partake of a bit of liquid refreshment as you sampled the savory selections of the tour. This is a really fun way to learn some very interesting history of old Atlanta along with getting a very nice introduction to some of the great food venues in the Grant Park area. Well worth an afternoon.

A perfect way to spend a short day in Atlanta. This tour was great way to learn about the history of Atlanta while eating some amazing food! Lauren was a really fun and informative guide, and there was such a delicious variety of traditional and modern Southern food. You'll definitely need the walking in between all the meals!
