This was truly one of the best things we did in ATL. Our guide was Joy and she did a great job telling us about Atlanta's history while taking us to some awesome places for fantabulous food. The tour itself was really well-paced. We got a bit of walking in to help all the food digest! You could really tell that the tour was thoughtfully planned to give us the best time. Thank you JOY and Atlanta Food Walks!

5 of us took this food tour in April. We were in town for a friends birthday and wanted to get to know a bit more about the city and it’s history. Our tour guide Lauren was fantastic and extremely informative. We wanted her to hang out with all weekend!! She was a wonderful host and our entire group enjoyed the tour. Tried some great food that gave us a sampling of Atlanta cuisine. Would recommend for anyone who wants to get out and try something a little different. The highlight for our group was the cemetery walking portion, it’s something we would of never done on or own but well worth it. Perfect amount of food and walking. Our group was full but not stuffed.

I am so glad that you enjoyed your afternoon with Lauren in Grant Park's beautiful Oakland Cemetery. I understand that a meal and a stroll through a cemetery isn't on most peoples weekend itinerary. However, Oakland is a rural garden cemetery and was used for scenic carriage rides and picnics in the late 19th century. The gardens are beautiful in the springtime. Thank you for joining us for an outside of the box birthday celebration and your wonderful review.

Our guide Margaret was awesome. She had a lot of knowledge about Atlanta's history as well as Dr Martin Luther King. She kept us engaged the entire time. The restaurants and food along the journey was nice. A very pleasant day.
