Took the southern food tour with Joy who is an absolutely joy! The tour was full of great history and information about Atlanta and wow, the food was great. We did 7 stops and each offered something unique and delicious. Amongst what we tried was fried chicken, BBQ, sweet tea, popcorn, a burger and pralines! Come hungry and be prepared to walk! Really an excellent tour and would highly recommend. I have done food tours everywhere from Hawaii to Copenhagen to Miami and this one was wonderful!! If you have Joy as your guide it will add an extra special dimension to the tour.

We took the Southern Food Tour with Joy and right from the start she was dynamic and interesting. We learned so much about the history of Atlanta that we did not know as we ate our way across Atlanta. The food was all interesting and really good- a nice variety! A nice way to spend the day with the friends we came with and the friends we made on the tour. Joy got us to get to know each other and sent us a few pictures that she took along the way. Thanks, Joy!

We had such a great time on the tour. Jennifer was our guide and she was so kind and knowledgeable. All of the restaurants were great! I am a pescatarian and they were so accomodating! My favorite stop was the first stop, Paschals, it has so much history and delicious food. At each stop, Jennifer had so much information about both the restaurant and the history of Atlanta. Even while we were walking from place to place, Jennifer kept us entertained with all she knew! We had excellent weather and the walk was not bad at all. We even walked by a movie set, which was so cool! Jennifer was so kind to take photos throughout the tour and send them to us. I would highly recommend Atlanta Food Walks!
