Learn to surf in a group setting with our instructors here at Sea Maui Surf! Your group lesson will begin with a land lesson going over ocean safety and beginner level basic steps to learn everything you nee to know on your lesson! As you are in a group setting all participants must have the ability to swim and feel comfortable doing so in the ocean on their own. For participants not comfortable with their swimming abilities (or under the age of 13) We must require you to participate in a private or semi private lesson to not take away from the others experience during the group lesson.

Sea Maui is amazing! Although it’s a group lesson, the class is small and the instructors make sure everyone is able to “catch a wave”. I think everyone in the lesson was able to stand up and ride a wave several times during the lesson. There is also a photographer in the water so you can get awesome pictures even if you can’t zoom in from shore (or are taking the lesson yourself).

An absolute blast! The instructors (JT and Devin) were patient, helpful, encouraging and entertaining. The whole group found the experience a success and had fun doing it!

My 16 year old nephew and I took our first surf lessons with Devon and TJ. They gave us great instructions, and we had a lot of fun!! We booked this session last minute, and the only thing available was the the group lesson. If we could do it again, the only thing we would change is we would take a private session so we could have more one on one time. I would definitely recommend this company for a quick first-time surf lesson!
