Explore beautiful Rehoboth Bay by paddleboard on this guided excursion! Enjoy excellent scenic views as you test your paddling skills on the water. This tour launches at 8:30. We also have 10:15 a.m. and 12 p.m. launch times available. Please arrive 15 minutes early. No restrooms on site.

À quoi s'attendre

NorthBeach

Paddlers will arrive at Northbeach, a waterfront restaurant. Free Parking on site and restrooms are available. You'll check in with Delmarva Board Sports, sign waivers if not already completed on line. Next we will assign you with safety equipment and paddles. After some photos (optional) and land instruction, you will head out into the shallow Rehoboth Bay for paddling. Enjoy local birds such as Osprey, Great Blue Herons, egrets and bald eagles as you paddle along the salt marsh.

NorthBeach

Les pagayeurs arriveront à Northbeach, un restaurant au bord de l'eau. Un parking gratuit sur place et des toilettes sont disponibles. Vous vous enregistrerez auprès de Delmarva Board Sports, signerez les décharges si elles ne sont pas déjà remplies en ligne. Ensuite, nous vous attribuerons un équipement de sécurité et des pagaies. Après quelques photos (facultatif) et des instructions sur terre, vous vous dirigerez vers la baie peu profonde de Rehoboth pour pagayer. Admirez les oiseaux locaux tels que le balbuzard pêcheur, le grand héron bleu, les aigrettes et les pygargues à tête blanche en pagayant le long du marais salé.

Kayaked with some friends and had a ball. Olivia was so knowledgeable and made it a fun experience. She also took pictures of our group. She was AWESOME!

We have SUP boards at home and have canoed a few times but since we had never kayaked, we decided to try the guided excursion. We were told the bay is very shallow and the wind was reasonable that day. Our guide was a half time snow ski instructor, half time kayak guide, named Will. We paddled across the bay to an island and back. There was not a whole lot of instruction aside from less than 5 minutes on the beach. We all did fine so that didn't seem to be a problem. We saw horseshoe crabs, turtles, osprey and heron. We were in tandem sit on top kayaks with back rests. They were comfortable. Wearing water shoes is imperative with the sharp shells and things in the water at the loading zone. George took some photos of us upon our return. I took a few while we were out there too. We paid for cold waters for after our paddle but I guess we all forgot about that! There are restrooms onsite at the restaurant attached. PFDs are provided.

We had 8 sixteeen year old boys in for a lacrosse tourney with one day for fun & they had so much fun doing SUP!
