Wow! My boyfriend and I traveled to Nashville for pleasure and decided to do the Segway of Nashville tour. This was the first tour we did for the short 5 days we were in the city. We had April as our tour guide and she was wonderful (my bf and I were the only 2 on the tour and it was made the tour much more personal for us, we asked tons of questions and April had an answer right away). From April's personality, to her way of training us on how to use the segway PT (first time users btw) to her knowledge of this wonderful city. It was outstanding. Im so glad we got to meet her and have her as our tour guide. She definitely made us feel so comfortable and by the end of the tour, we definitely felt that we were friends. The actual tour itself is great. Tons of facts and awesome views. The Segway itself is great, super easy to use and it seriously started to feel as second nature, just as walking comes natural. Pretty sure we were pro's by the end of it lol I would deff recommend to anyone with a few hours to kill, definitely worth the money spent. I loved Nashville and this tour just helped kick it off just right! Thanks a bunch April, deff a pleasure meeting you.

This was an amazing tour. The views of Nashville were breathtaking as you can see from the pictures. I was born and raised in Nashville and I didn’t realize how beautiful and lively Nashville is. When you first get to the tour you watch a short movie showing you all the different ways Segway can, and will, face dive you into the pavement if you ignore it’s warning growls. Yes, these things will growl at you like a dog, very strange, I know. But no worries, if you don’t plan on popping wheelies, and you pay attention to where you’re going, you won’t have a problem. Balancing the Segway was my biggest fear, but it has some type of balancer built in the Segway that works flawlessly, as long as you keep the wheels on solid ground. No wheelies! It’s as easy to ride as an escalator. Watch your step, and enjoy the ride! Next, your tour guides (the people there are so friendly, helpful, knowledgeable, and really care about giving you an experience of a lifetime) teach you one on one, how to maneuver your Segway, and ensure that you feel comfortable and confident handling it. Once you get a feel for it, it’s really easy. Our group was about 10-12 people, all locals except one couple, and I believe my group of 4 was the youngest, around our early 30’s, all the way up to age 60 ‘ish. Everybody had an amazing time! We only had 1 person fall off of their Segway. The tire clipped the curb, throwing off the balancer. Off they went, an easily avoidable incident had they been paying more attention. They weren’t hurt at all, just a little embarrassed. My favorite part of the trip was the views and that ‘free’ feeling you get when you don’t have a care in the world, you feel the wind blowing through your hair, and the warm sun shining on your face. For a short while, I almost felt like a kid again. Since that was my favorite part, my least favorite part was stopping to hear all of the History of the various landmarks we were stopping at.We went about 5 miles through downtown Nashville stopping at sites such as the Schermerhorn Symphony Center, Country Music Hall of Fame, Bridgestone Arena, Fort Nashborough, Bicentennial Mall, Farmer's Market, and the Tennessee State Capitol, which was super nice, and it wasn’t boring information by any means, just a lot of stop and go, and I just wanted to keep riding. If you go in knowing you not only get to ride, but you’re going to get a history lesson on Nashville, you won’t be disappointed. In fact, most people would probably appreciate the wealth of information provided. I like the thrill factor, but since this tour has both, everyone is sure to love this experience. If you have the time and money, I highly recommend going on the Segway tour. I can’t imagine anyone being disappointed they did. In fact, I can almost guarantee you will want to purchase your own Segway after this tour, and for around $6000 you can, but you still couldn’t buy the beautiful views the Segway tour provides. If you would like to schedule your own Segway tour, or want more information, you can call 615-244-0555 or click on this link and it will take you directly to their website. http://segwayofnashvilletours.com/ Tour Details Available: Monday - Sunday Tour Times: 9:00am, 12:00pm, and 3:00pm Duration: 2.5 Hours Age Restriction: 14 Year Minimum (under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian) Cost: $75.00 +tax per person All tours are reserved in advance. Great experience. Kenzie and Eric were very helpful in training all 11 people get acclimated to riding a Segway. They were very knowledgeable about Nashville as well. The 2.5 hours went by so quickly.
