This was a great walking tour of the Freedom Trail. I was able to understand some of the history and see some beautiful sites!!

This tour was fine. If it had been up to me, I would have preferred a bit more history of the revolution and a bit less about architecture and buildings, but whatever, our guide was pleasant and the tour was not too crowded, so it’s all good.

This should have been a great history lesson. There are a total of 15 stops along the freedom trail. You cannot cover all 15 in a walking tour in 1 hour and 10 minutes. We knew that we would see a limited number of stops and were ok with that. Instead what we got was a 20 delay waiting for a couple who couldn't fine us. I could see waiting 5 minutes but 20 no. Strike one! After a excellent history lesson on the old State House, we walked to an alley that is not on the Freedom Trail. We were told that early Bostonians filled there pails with water from a stream that was here over 200 years ago. We saw a dark dingy alley that was paved over 100 years ago. Strike 2. Then we went to Walgreens (again not on the Freedom Trail) to watch them make Sushi. WHAT IS THIS? Strike 3.After standing there for 5-10 minutes we were lead to the cemetery. While other tour companies had their guides dress in colonial period dress, ours was dressed to work in the garden. 1 hour and 10 minutes, plus the time waiting for that couple we had enough. We left the tour (?) and headed for a nice lunch and the Boston Harbor Tour. Please use one of the other Walking tours. I have complained to the owners of this tour and have received no reply.

There was a response in the TripAdvisor Website when the issue was brought up. The response addressed your original concern that you left the tour at Walgreen's and only had seen 2 stops on the Freedom Trail up to then. I explained that we arrive at the Famine Memorial in that location about 40 minutes into the tour and by then we covered our basic Boston history introduction and saw the Boston Massacre Site, the Old State House, Faneuil Hall, Old South Meeting House and Old Corner Bookstore, all of which are on the Freedom Trail. We then went on from there to do more Freedom Trail sites including the Old City Hall, First Public School House Site, Kings Chapel, Tremont Temple, the Granary Cemetery, Park Street Church, Boston Common and the "New" State House - all of which was after you left, sorry to say. We also do some historic architecturally significant buildings and some Boston-specific local history that is not officially a part of The Freedom Trail, but add that local aspect most folks appreciate. Sorry that all didn't work for you.
