Makawao

A first rate operation. Excellent equipment with all the accessories needed for the ride. Very attentive and informative store help and guide. We really liked the format of heading up around 9am and going directly to the 6,500 foot starting elevation (which is where all of the bike tours start) rather than leaving in the middle of the night to go up to the top of Haleakala just for the chance to see the sunrise (which can be obscured due to weather as it was when we did this ride a number of years ago). We would definitely choose Maui Sunriders Bike Company again!

They were absolutely fabulous! Remi was our guide and instructor. They’re all about safety, which is awesome. Remi also is a great tour guide on the way up the mountain. It was like a two for one! Would highly recommend.

Our group of 4 adults all loved the ride. Having seen the road up to the summit area of Haleakala when we viewed the sunrise earlier, we were at first intimidated by doing the ride and wondered what we signed up for. However, it turned out to be an exhilarating and fun ride and not scary at all. Maui Sunriders told us exactly what to expect and gave us tips for a safe ride. As mentioned in the description, the timing of this tour is perfect as there was not much traffic coming down the road when we were rding. My only regret was that the first part of the ride (6.5 miles) was over too soon!
