This was such an amazing fishing trip! First of all, Dean was very understanding about my physical limitations and he worked out a way to accommodate me. I reeled in so many fish that my arm was sore! It was an incredibly fun time and I’m so grateful that I could do this. Thank you!

Picture this city boy that gets taken to Alaska to do salmon and halibut fishing but had no experience doing such activities. Well by the end of the weeklong trip I came home to plan my next trip with my son to Dean’s place. Why Dean? Well because his guides are very friendly and helpful, not to mention patient when working with newbies like me. They always made me feel like I knew what I was doing and was a natural. They kept us entertained as well, now I understand the whole fishing story concept. As far as my son is concerned I had a HUGE salmon but it snapped the line. King of the River has a great setup waiting for you when you book with them. They cleaned up the fish, filleted them and even vacuum packed and froze them. Coming home with that cooler of fish was the best souvenir ever.
