Harlem played a significant role during this critical era, and our tour will take you on a journey through the streets of Harlem to explore the sites and learn about the individuals who were instrumental in this movement. From protesters to leaders, activists to artists, the people of Harlem fought, marched, and even sacrificed their lives for the cause of civil rights. You will gain a deep understanding of this monumental time in history.

Join us on a walk from 116th Street to the 137th area as we explore our proud contribution to the Civil Rights Movement. On this tour, you'll discover the critical events that took place in Harlem and the important people who played pivotal roles during this time. From Malcolm X, A. Philip Randolph, Adam Clayton Powell, Jr., W.E.B. DuBois and Paul Robeson, you will learn about these figures who played pivotal roles in the struggle for equality in Harlem.
