I thoroughly enjoyed my trip out with the Rewards Fleet. My boyfriend and I visiting from NY got really lucky and caught 2 huge King fish to keep and take back with us. The rest of the boat didn't catch any keepers though. I guess deep sea fishing is hit or miss but our experience was really fun. The mate, Pep, did a wonderful job in setting up everyone's line and making sure we all had bait. I guess one thing they didn't do too well is tell the crew how to fish and what do to. We just asked them, but normally, the captain/crew will assist you and tell you to put the line all the way down or do something else. We did not expect to catch a 10 lb fish, so it was definitely a surprise and a thrill.

Phoned up the night before to enquire about fishing on 305-372-9470 and was told there were 12 people booked for the morning trip but to ring in the morning to confirm whether the afternoon trip was on. Did and it was and what a day it was too! Got down to the pier at Bayside harbour by Victoria's Secret and our party of three (me, my wife and son) made our way on to the boat about fifteen minutes before it was due to leave at 1:30 pm. We left on time and made our way out to sea with just a handful of paying customers on-board there was plenty of room and the many crew were always available to lend a hand with fresh bait or advice. We started fishing and initially it was very slow and then, boom! Fish were being caught at the front, the back and in the middle. We caught an amazing Kingfish and it really put up a fight but what a prize to see it landed and we were not the only ones. Lots of other fish caught and had the most amazing afternoon on the boat and the staff were helpful, good fun and amazing. Water and ice cold beers (Corona, Bud and Bud Light) were available at a few dollars apiece to consume whilst soaking up the sun and enjoying the fishing. There was also an air-conditioned cabin area with tables and chairs if you needed a moment to cool down from the heat outside as well. We were supposed to be back at 5 but stayed out fishing till 6 at no extra cost and had a day to remember. This was good value compared to other tours and attractions, loads of fun, fantastic, friendly and helpful staff and a really great way to spend a half day in Miami.

Booked through a third party and did not know what to expect. Got a very good price on 4 people fishing (2 adults, 2 kids) Had a little difficult time finding the dock since the address is basically a huge area. Once we got on board the crew explained proper procedures on how to use the poles. The boat left a lot to be desired but hey its a fishing boat, not a hotel room. Once we got out there the captain stopped and stated that there were a lot of dolphin right below us. Low and behold my wife caught the first dolphin. Daughter caught the second but was too small. Once everyone had a little bit, we moved. Once we moved, many people caught bonito and threw it back since its not really good to eat and bleeds a lot. Moved again and everyone started catching red snapper, tarpon, and someone even caught a pufferfish. After all the fishing was done, the crew filleted any fish if you wanted them to and let you know that there was a restaurant near the dock (Trade Winds) that would cook any fish that you caught right away. Went to the restaurant and they made us blackened mani-mahi from our catch. Awesome day. I would book through them again.
