Half Day rafting trips on the Lower Animas are incredibly popular for busy schedules. You'll get a couple hours on the water with the best rapid sections.

I had a blast and Lauren was a great guide. It was my first time kayaking on a river and although it was difficult, Lauren was able to guide me and give me good pointers.

Mild to Wild was a great kayaking experience. My wife was hesitant to try such a physically demanding experience but safely conquered the course with encouragement and helpful instruction from our guide Conor. The lower Animas trip takes you through a challenging strip of river. Due to the recent rains, the water level was aggressive but the staff looked after our safety. We even conquered the Smelter whitewater park. For anyone looking for a physically challenging whitewater experience I would highly recommend.
