The Riviera is Jackson Kayak’s blend of easy and FUN! Designed for its simplicity, the Riviera is a great option for those looking for an easy to use and comfortable sit on top. The high back on the seat gives you the comfort and support you need to to enjoy your paddling adventures.

We have a variety of Stand Up Paddleboards to chose from in several different lengths. Wether you take one out for a morning paddle on a perfectly calm lake or out on the Bay you'll be bound to enjoy your experience.

Sun Bikes offers up the perfect mix of style and value to create a cruiser that's simple and fun to ride. An extra long wheel base, super wide tires, and upright riding position make the bikes comfortable, durable, and easy to ride, exactly what's needed for just cruising around. Hybrids are also available for those looking to take a longer trip.

We did ALL the things - kayaking, SUPs and bikes. The personalized, customer experience is top notch. They make sure you are oriented before getting in the water or on the bikes so you feel confident about where you’re going and how to use any of their equipment. They deliver, pick up and made the experience flow so easily for us. One of my favorite activities was kayaking and paddle boarding the Boardman River. The current was gentle but just enough to make it pleasant and relaxing. So many cool bridges and the teenagers even got to see turtles along the way! Highly recommend going this route to support the small family owned local business. The owner Tawny Hammond makes sure you’re well taken care of. Would go with them again in a heartbeat.💙

Our kayak experience was delightful due to the beautiful water and bird life. The staff was exceedingly helpful, and the rental price was very reasonable. And the equipment was in excellent condition. Thank you!

We actually book a half day rental of kayaks to go across Boardman Lake and up the river to the Bay. We planned to go at our own pace and stop along the way at a few places in town. Due to the fact that the city had shut down one of the bridges, we were unable to go up the river. To make it up to us, River Outfitters gave us free us of bikes for the day after we finished kayaking the lake. It turned out way better than we thought it would!! The kayaking was fun, but the bikes were and outstanding way to visit the many breweries of Traverse City. The staff of River Outfitters was so helpful and friendly, we really enjoyed the entire day.
