We were a family group of eight persons including two grand children visiting Seattle enroute to an Alaskan Cruise. We had one full day and a half day before boarding the Cruise Ship. Being eight of us, Terry arranged for a van for us to go around. For the full day tour we were taken by Terry himself on an outing, we like to call it an 'expedition', to Mount Rainier National Park. Enroute we stopped at several spots as we liked and also photo spots suggested by Terry - an accomplished 'expert-level' photographer. We also were taken on walking 'trails' and shown both natural and historic views both enroute and at the vicinity of Mount Rainier. Next day, for the half-day tour we were taken by a lady colleague of Terry also named Terry! We visited Snoqualmie Falls and also were given a City Tour including a Salmon 'ladder' and a hill-top view point for a panoramic view of Seattle before being dropped-off in time at Pier-66 to board the Norwegian Pearl - our cruise ship for a 7-night Alaskan Cruise. We enjoyed our Seattle visit. Thanks to Terry Divyak, Owner of Shutter Tours - he is just Great!

Thank you do much for the great review and I was so happy to spend the day with you at Mt. Rainier and share the beauty of the Pacific Northwest with you and your family. Thank you for sharing your stories of India with me as well, I hope to get there some day. Teri shared that she had a fun day with you during the city tour and I hope your Alaska cruise as as wonderful as your Seattle visit. Terry Divyak - Owner Shutter Tours

We scheduled a private tour for our family with two small children because we didn't want to bother others on the tour with needing to stop for them. Terri, our driver was on time and called me to be sure we were both on the same page time wise which was good because we were departing a cruise ship and can only go when your luggage number is called. She picked us up, helped with our bags and off we went on city sites and Snoqualmie Falls. Because it was a private tour I won't go into what we saw, because that can be changed up. Terri brought us donuts, one of the kids got car sick and she was still cheerful and nice. Nice lady. The only reason I didn't give it a five is because I take these reviews I write very seriously and a five would have to be a perfect experience. My one suggestion is to have more information about the city and less about her personal jobs and relationships with musicians etc. If felt like name dropping or something. It was hard to follow the story of the city when too much personal information was mixed in and the history dropped off. The photography tips were good for someone who never took a class but fairly basic for people with a dlsr. She did drive us to some great picture taking spots and I enjoyed the day with her.

Thank you for your feedback on Teri and the tour she provided. Sometimes on a private tour it becomes more of a a conversation and interaction as opposed to just giving a tour and I'll share your thoughts with her on sharing additional city history. I do hope you enjoyed the donuts she provided from Top Pot, our favorite donut shop in the city. Thank you again, Terry Divyak Owner - Shutter Tours

We booked this tour for our family of 6 for our first full day in Seattle. Terry, the owner of the company and driver of the bus, picked us up from our hotel, which was NOT in the middle of the city, closer to the airport. My first impression of Terry was that he's a very enthusiastic and cheerful character, greeted us with a smile. We drove a distance to Snoqualmie Falls Park, but it was well worth the photo ops and peaceful surrounding. Feel the positive ions! During the drive, Terry was kind enough to further educate us on Seattle's rich history, what makes the city so smart and where to find good places to eat. We got to see the infamous Troll, dusty piece but a beauty none the less. We ventured for some Theo's chocolate, free samples of chocolate on the wall. Their curry chocolate was interesting. We then toured the Ballard Locks, saw a fascinating boat go through the locks system. We then ended our trip at the beautiful Kelly Park. Terry gave us great photo tips and tricks, but the tour was a gem of it's own.
