Really knowledgeable team and fantastic and tracking down the whales. We were lucky enough to see humpbacks including a calf playing. Highly recommended. Thanks Isaiah and Andy.

Tip: Bring cash to tip your naturalist. Six years ago my husband and I went whale watching in Ventura, where my husband proposed to me. For our five year anniversary, we wanted to go whale watching in Monterey as it's become a special tradition for us, plus it is humpback whale season. For $70 a person for a half day, I would say it is WELL worth it. We had an amazing time!! We saw gray whales, humpback whales, otters, sea lions, and received so much information about our wonderful ocean world. The entire crew is great. They clearly love what they do. These boats are a bit smaller which to me is ideal for a great experience, you are really right there in the action. (while still keeping a safe and respectable distance from these wonderful creatures) The crew will answer any questions and are extremely knowledgeable. There really is an incredible world of wildlife out there and we have an amazing privilege to witness this world up close. Would definitely do the trip again and again!

We saw 23 Gray Whales and 20+ dolphins on a beautiful March day! The waters were choppy, if you get seasick you absolutely need to take something! Pack layers, it was 55 degrees and sunny, but on the water it was significantly colder.
