I waited 15 min in the designated spot, but no one showed up to do the tour or contacted me in any way. I called the tour company number twice. On the second try someone answered and said she did not know where the guide was. I asked for a refund which she said she processed while we were on the phone. However, the refund never processed. Capital One did remove the charge as the service I paid for was not provided.

Again, I apologize for the inconvenience but as I explained when we spoke it was unusual for the tour guide not to be on spot, that I did not know where he was at that point but would check and I offered to get someone there to guide you but you refused the offer and wanted a refund. In the process of refunding the ticket price of $25, I saw that your reservation came in after we had checked for the next day's booking and mentioned this to you as the reason for the tour guide not being at the meeting point. The request for a refund was done at 10:11 am while we were both on the phone, Trip Advisor/Viator was also notified by our booking system at 10:11am. In receiving your complaint through TA review, a call was made to our booking company and they confirmed a notification had been sent to Trip Advisor. I do not understand the Trip Advisor's delay on issuing the refund but in any case I was advised it will be done today. Capital One Bank is not involved in this transaction and is only a reference for the meeting point for this tour. Thank you for your notification. It is my understanding this will be resolved today but please let us know if there are any further difficulties.

We enjoy learning history when travelling. We learned so much from George our guide - culture, history, architecture, folklore. He is a true historian of the area. Thanks for a memorable tour.

The guide explained very clearly the story and facts about Harlem. It surprised me how historical this area was. As a lover of American history I found it really interesting.
