Frieda's tour was 2 1/2 hours of comprehensive experience and facts about the Williamsburg Hasidic culture. Lot of food tasting included in the price. Frieda is intelligent, witty, respectful, and an impressive woman. I would HIGHLY recommend this tour. It was perfect for a "sister's weekend".

This is by far one of the best tours I've ever done in my life. And I've done a lot. Frieda was born into the Hasidic community in Williamsburg and stepped out. Because of this she has a unique way of looking at things, both from an outsiders and an insiders perspective. She treats the Hasidics with dignity and respect, not once did I feel like someone in a zoo looking at other people. She makes clear that we all are humans. I thought the price was a bit expensive before the tour started. After the tour I thought I paid way too less. Not just all the explanations, and what she showed us, but oh my g-d...the food we ate in the bakery and in the restaurant was incredible! Done with so much love and just like your great grandmother 100 years ago! Frieda is a Mensch! Wonderful, interesting, charming, funny, respectful and she has an incredible knowledge which she shares with her heart's blood. She answered all our questions and explained so many things. I now have a much better understanding of the Hasidic communities. I would recommend this tour to everyone! No matter if Jewish or not, native speaker or not (like me). Thank you Frieda!

I have traveled extensively and taken many guided tours in my travels, and this tour with Frieda is EXCELLENT! I had long been intrigued by Hasidic Judaism, but never felt the community was something I could explore on my own. Frieda has personal insights to share and in-depth knowledge about the culture and community you likely won't find in other resources or on other tours. She is so thoughtful in her treatment of the people in the community and in the way she demonstrates respect for their beliefs and practices. I can't encourage you enough to take this tour if you are the least bit curious to know more about the Hasidic community.
