Your guide will orient you to the area of East Cemetery Hill which is the location of heavy fighting during the Battle of Gettysburg before you enter the National Soldiers Orphanage Homestead. This building was used as the headquarters for General O.O. Howard during the battle and was also use as a hospital during and after the battle. It was an awesome and entertaining tour of the Orphanage. The history and spookiness of it was a great time. Our guide, Mike was knowledgeable and a great storyteller of those times and the children spirits that are still there. Was a great way to spend my birthday with my wife and can't to bring others along next time.
