My brother, sister, and I signed up for this wine/tasting walking tour. We were very fortunate to be the only ones signed up for this day/time. We ended up enjoying a private tour while paying a group price. Our tour guide for the day was Harold. We/I could not have asked for a better person to take us around. Harold was fun, engaging, and very knowledgeable about everything seen on this particular day...and all w/o coming across as a know-it-all, nor someone who’s presented this tour over and over and now has become bored w/ the outing. Serveal times I had to stop and thank Harold for his winning attitude and wealth of information. Did I mention to you how many local people on the streets were greeted by Harold and/or vice versa w/ a friendly wave and how are you? I’m not a big wine drinker but I do love food. We went to three stops and each was different from the other. The food pairings while not huge in portion size were just enough. Except for our final stop. There we were served THE best grilled cheese sandwiches, each different, but all equally buttery and delicious. Each person representing the tasting rooms was knowledgeable in their offerings. None presented a hard sell to purchase their products, which I knew I wouldn’t as I mentioned I’m not a wine drinker. My siblings and I were really just looking for a nice way to spend a day w/ each other while learning about the local area. This tour, located in the cutest town center of Healdsburg did just that. We enjoyed the stop at Cousteau’s french bakery as well as our stop at the tea room, too. All in all, I think I speak for my family when I say this tour, located in Healdsburg, w/ Harold made for a winning outing. Our sincere thanks to Harold, for he set the tone. Mission accomplished. (I am a seasoned traveler, both stateside and abroad. I’m a retired teacher and wife of a retired Army Officer. We lived in Germany for ten years, in three different cities. We know and appreciate good service. If you take THIS tour and are assigned Harold, you will not be disappointed.)

Yes, you can't walk very far with Harold on the streets of downtown Healdsburg without someone waving, honking or giving a shout out to him - some people refer to him as Healdsburg Harold! We are thrilled you had such a wonderful time and thank you for kind words about our good service. I've lived in Sonoma County for more than 30 years but this tour took me to places I had never been. I discovered small boutique wineries with fabulous wines; learned how to pair wines with food; tasted delicious "shrubs" at the Shed; nibbled pastries at Costeaux French Bakery, and was introduced to the fabulous Russian River Tea Company! Our guide interspersed the tour with tidbits about the town's history, making the experience even more enjoyable. I would recommend this in a heartbeat to anyone coming to Sonoma County on vacation, but it's also a great experience if you live here!!

First time doing the tour I got the owner of the company Harold and it was amazing. This time I got Marianne, super sweet and knowledgeable as well. Some of the stops we went to were different as well so it was like a fresh experience. Would recommend this tour even for multiple times. Small bites of food at each location so by the end you are neither hungry nor too full if you feel like going to check out some of the restaurants in the area. Would highly recommend tour even for multiple times.
