Obviously, I know, the Met is huge and you'll never be able to fully appreciate it in 3 hours. But, it would be great to be able to have an experience based on visiting the most important pieces in the museum, instead of the tour guides favorite pieces. There were very important pieces we had to visit on our own, based on online research I had to do to so I made sure I wouldn't miss them. And the one thing the tour guide did show us that was NOT of his personal liking he said "I particularly dont like Monet since it is very ordinary..." and kept going on about it. If by any chance a tour guide doesnt like a work of art, please keep that to yourself. I was really exited to see Monet pieces and for my kids to see and appreciate. I wanted to cover my kids ears so they wouldnt listen.

Dear leonorgarciadebahsa,
Thank you for taking the time to write a review.
We are so sorry that your experience was unsatisfactory and that the guides personal opinions and preferences dampened the tour for you. We will pass along your comments to advise our guides to remain a bit more objective when speaking about the pieces and highlight the history rather than personal taste.
We hope you were still able to enjoy the MET despite this situation and give us another try the next time you're on holiday.
All the best,
The Walks Team
