I hate to leave a bad review of something we didn’t even get to do. The day we scheduled this experience it was pouring down rain and thunderstorms were predicted for the entire morning. We checked in with Bryce Canyon Scenic Tours. The operator agreed to cancel the excursion due to the threatening weather conditions but explained the refund would have to come from TripAdvisor / Viator. You cannot speak with anyone at Trip Advisor, everything has to be done on line. I filled out the form for a refund and was told I would get zero back as it was less than 24 hours before the trip. If Trip Advisor corrects this situation, I will take down this review. Otherwise, beware of losing your money if weather is bad. 😞

Hey Judy, and thanks for leaving a review- Unfortunately, if Tripadvisor was unwilling to offer a refund, there's nothing we can do. The tour you were booked for was indeed cancled due to poor weather, however I'd recommend calling their customer service line at (781) 800-5000 to explain that you've yet to recieve a refund, and they should be able to help you out. Up to this point and over the last 6 years we've never had an issue with Trip Advisor issuing a refund due to poor weather. Hope this helps!

We wanted to learn as much as possible in three hours of guided hiking. These are local people who can explain all the local lore and history. Mabry led us an Devils Loop and to Inspiration Point while giving a thorough and enthusiastic narrative about geology, flora and fauna. The three hours hiking with him set us up to enjoy and understand what we were going to see on our own hikes in the park.
