Thank you, Jimmy, for a perfect day in the city! My family was staying in the foothills, happily enjoying the adventure of that area, but wanted to see the city while in Tucson. My husband and I, along with our 3 boys (ages 9-14), booked with Tucson Bikes and enjoyed a private tour with Jimmy the very next day. My youngest is 9, so we weren't sure he'd fit on a bike. As the tour is nonrefundable, Jimmy suggested we not pay right away & come in before the tour time to see if he could handle a bike. I really appreciated that advice. Thankfully, my boy is tall & was just fine! We loved our day! It was 12 miles, but easy to handle. It was very much an on & off tour, with Jimmy giving us history & stories we wouldn't have heard anywhere else! I loved seeing the quaint neighborhoods & bustling downtown. Thank you for a fantastic time, my adventure loving family had a superb day!

I had a blast on the tour with the boys. I'm glad you stopped by to see if would work out. He was about 4'9" correct? That was definitely the smallest person I've ever had on a tour. 5'0" is usually about as short as I've taken. I'll definitely look into sourcing a few extra small bikes because I really enjoy riding with kids as long as they have ok riding skills/strength, which your boys definitely had. - Jimmy

This was a great bike tour. Jimmy our guide showed us parts of Tucson that we had never seen before, even though we've been visiting the city for many years. The pace is fairly brisk but was needed to get to all the sights and neighborhoods. Our group had 6 adults and most of us are causal bike riders. We were a bit sore afterwards but it was a small price to pay for a great day! We are already talking of doing this tour again! I highly recommend the bike tour!

Thank you for your review. I'm really glad you saw some new things even though you've been to Tucson before . . . that is definitely the intent for parts of the tour. As to feeling a bit sore, I've added gel seats to the bikes, so hopefully that will leave you a little less sore next time you visit.

My boyfriend and I have lived in Tucson for a combined seven years, and we were astounded and delighted by all we learned about our city during our bike tour with Jim Bultman of Tucson Bike Tours. Jim is friendly and funny and I know that your group – be it a family or a date – will feel safe and comfortable throughout. Jim’s attention to detail is noteworthy – he not only fits each brand new bike and helmet to the individual rider, but spends considerable time preparing for the tours – learning about Tucson’s history and hunting down its most unique neighborhoods seems to be his passion. Highlights of our trip included stops at fascinating murals and sculptures, leisurely rides into many historic neighborhoods including original adobe homes, Victorian mansions, and hidden gustatory gems (think – best tortillas you’ve ever eaten, warm and fresh!), and the natural beauty of the Tucson metropolitan area. We were always able to hear Jim as he masterfully shared Tucson’s history and lore with us – he makes sure that guests are part of the discussion and that there is time to take photographs at every site. This tour was splendid, and I would give it the highest recommendation for both Tucson locals and guests to our wonderful city! A MUST DO!

Good luck with Med School. If that doesn't work out you have a future in print. Your review is fantastically written! - Jimmy
