So, myself, my husband and a good friend went together as a hang out night while in Savannah. We've played plenty of horror games together such as Phasmophobia on the PC (and watched a many of ghost hunting shows) and thought "Lets do it in real life!" Now, I would say my husband is more of a skeptic than my friend and I were, and I know that really sunk in and changed for him last night. If we had any doubt before, we definitely do not now. We had visited the store location earlier in the afternoon and spoke to (I believe Josh?) and had an amazing time talking and seeing some of the evidence from tours he had given that really solidified for us that what we'd see that night would be LEGIT stuff.
So, we arrived at the theater and were immediately greeted by Mike, who I will say was one of the most friendly and personable people. I was OBVIOUSLY nervous and of course he reassured not only me personally but the group as they arrived that it was a positive haunt experience. Of course, you can't guarantee to see ANYTHING happen but last night the *residents* of the theater put on a SHOW. They did work in the theater in their time alive after all.
After we did the basics, going over the equipment, etc, we were given a tour and IMMEDIATELY began to experience some events that made you go "wait a dang minute". Once we all sat in the theater the door behind us THUMPED while everyone was in the theater and towards the front, it really set the tone for the night. As they began to talk to the spirit box on stage, we were getting answers back nearly immediately. A spirit, who we can assume was most likely Miss Elizabeth, touched equipment and even sounded like she was singing into the spirit box.
The rest of the night as we split into groups was extremely (mainly vocally) active. I can say I had CHILLS nearly the whole night and extreme emotions I couldn't explain that ranged from sadness to joy.
As far as activity, while backstage had lots of spirit box and rod activity, we saw lots of heat signatures in the mirror room, as well as even getting auditory noises from the door to that room and other strange phenomenon that didn't directly involve the equipment.
If you see this review and you are sitting here looking to book and thinking "this can't be 'that' great of a tour", I'm going to tell you you are EXTREMELY wrong and that you should book this tour right now. It was worth it and I'm honestly trying to talk my husband into booking again tonight. It was beyond fun and informative. Like they say they cannot guarantee the spirits will feel like communicating that night, but if you're lucky like our group was, you will get so much activity you will leave a believer that there is SOMETHING.
