The JWalk Historic Women of Charleston tour was the BEST! First of all, Jonathan helped my friend from Ct. and I by rescheduling due to rough weather. The day of the tour we hit terrible traffic driving into Charleston, then we got lost due to my inept ability to navigate. He called to check on us and helped guide us to the meeting place. He let the group decide if they wanted to wait on us (10 minutes - they did!). Jonathan was a superior guide. Hearing about the outstanding strong women in Charleston’s history was informative, empowering, endearing and inspiring. It’s about time the women in the low country that turned history on its head were acknowledged! I learned so much. I want to go again! This tour is perfect for bride-to-be parties, BFFs, girl-time outings, college reunions, spring breaks, and just if you need a lift in your belief that women can make powerful differences in the world, starting in the community. MpI am a breast cancer survivor. Learning about Eliza Lucas Pinckney’s breast cancer and her role as the first woman in breast cancer research brought on my tears mixed with smiles. WOW. So cool. Teary-eyed again even now - with a smile. Thank you, Jonathan, for your information. This tour is by far my favorite.
