Read that you could start tour from any location, go to get on a bus...I had prepaid mind you, and the driver said no you have to get a shuttle to pick you up and take you to the 1st stop, said she was gonna call one in for us. 10 minutes later no shuttle. Someone else called to get it. Once we finally got on a shuttle Brenda our driver was very good. Very knowledgeable about savannah. We decided to get on again after the tour to take us back to our hotel 3 stops later, and as we got off, the new driver was yelling out venmo venmo! Ok yeah I get it tipping is nice but come on. You literally took us 3 stops and you shouldn't beg for tips.

It was disappointing in that the tour guides did not speak clearly, and one of the guides kept saying 'guys' at the end or middle of almost every sentence. we also sat at a stop for almost an hour waiting for the next bus to come along. Wasted a lot of time. The places they drove by were very good and we stopped a a few to go in and see the place.

My wife and I did the hop on/off tour on Wednesday afternoon…except we never hopped off! Hampton was our driver and guide, and he was INCREDIBLE. He welcomed us aboard and asked what brought us to Savannah. We told him it was our honeymoon. From that point until the end of our tour he made us feel like royalty. He mixed in fun humor and important details about the sites and the city’s history. We loved every moment on board! If I could give Hampton 100 stars I would. I would also like to give a big shout out to Marcie at the ticket office as well. She suggested wonderful places to eat and see while we’re in Savannah, and made us feel like real people and not just another couple coming to take the tour. This will go down as the highlight of our trip for sure. Thank you Hampton and Marcie!
