The beautiful scenery from the trees hanging across the streets in the square areas, and All of the history that I learned.

We hopped on and off several times and at the end we had the driver named Steve. Steve was very knowledgeable about Savannah, and all of the places we had gone by. He gave a great tour with southern charm and hospitality that any proud Savannahian would display!! He was fantastic!! Every tour we’ve ever taken has been excellent! We visit Savannah every year and never grow tired of taking a tour with Old Savannah Tours!!

We opted for the regular tour and did not hop-on, hop-off. During certain times we read that it would be hard to get back on full trolleys. That did not happen on our tour but we were happy we chose to just stay on for the whole tour. Our driver was loud and clear and entertaining. There were a few characters that got on a certain stops and we were sitting on the very last rows of the trolley and heard them fine. It was a great way to start our visit and see different areas and learn interesting information. There is also a free DOT which goes up and down the historic area and another that goes back and forth across the area closer to the river. I think it just started up again and is not very well advertised but it is a great respite when you need a little air while walking if it's going your way. But Old Savannah Tour operators and staff were all very pleasant and helpful and recommend doing the full tour as an overview to the city. They seem to run continually throughout most of the day.
