The Historic Houston Craft Cocktail Tour will feature a variety of cocktails from some of the city’s most talented mixologists in addition to a few delicious bites and a dose of history.

Each tour will be different, offering an element of surprise to all participants. We’ve partnered with numerous downtown hotspots including OKRA Charity Saloon, Frank’s Pizza and El Big Bad to name a few. Consider this tour a refined happy hour that transports you back to the beginnings of Houston.

Participants can expect a variety of flavor profiles throughout the tour. Some may enjoy a Blueberry, Jalapeño & Cilantro Margarita paired with a hearty Steak Carne Asada Taco or a warm, flakey Plantain Empanada (vegetarian-friendly) from El Big Bad. Others may enjoy a refreshing Peach Moonshine paired with a mouthwatering Smoked Brisket Grilled Cheese from The Moonshiners Southern Table + Bar. Some may even enjoy both! All tours will end with a spiked coffee drink for a little pick-me-up.

Had the pleasure of going on this tour and can I just say: wow! From the delicious food to the drinks ...the DRINKS! Sooo good! Star was a fun energetic host! Can’t wait to take more friends on the tour!

Just did a tour with Best Bites Houston this past weekend and it was so worth it. This exciting tour shines and is an great example of Houston’s diversity and exceptional cuisine. The tour ranges and takes you through many great food n drink pairings that are unique and exciting on your palette. For all you history buffs this is a must as the tour is not just about what all you can drink n eat but also gives you the history of Houston. Please try to go with your friends for maximum fun and a great new activity.

I did a Sunday Booze, Bites and historic sites tour and loved every minute of it. It was the perfect Sunday Funday! There were drinks, food, great photo ops, lots of laughs, and some history. Star is an amazing tour guide, and I tell this to anywho who asks me about the tour. She has a true passion for what she does, there is this energy about her that shines through when she is guiding a tour. I highly recommend this tour to everyone, regardless if you are a Houston native or if you are just visiting. I have already told my husband that we have to go to one together. Can't wait for round 2!!
