Add a thrilling outdoor adventure to the Na Pali Coast. This tour is perfect for anyone determined to see the Na Pali Coast, on the Island of Kauai. Our Express Catamaran, 'Imiloa, was designed to get you to the Na Pali the fastest way possible.

Join us on this fun & adventurous ride. Get ready for some dolphin encounters, magnificent peaks and valleys, waterfalls, sea caves, and more. Our Captain will be narrating the tour as our friendly crew will be serving you to your seats. This boat has a covered top to protect you from the harsh Hawaiian sun but open sides for lots of ventilation. Be prepared to get wet! Dress casually & bring a towel, sunscreen camera & jacket. Be prepared to get splashed on! A casual meal is offered (Call 48hrs in advance to place your food order.

This was the worst time spent in Kauai. HORRIBLE. The Captain should be fired. He took us out on the worst water and beating the crap out of us.

The views of the Na Pali Coast are amazing!! The trip there and back is long and painful. Since the boat docks in Eleele, it has a long way to go to get from the South to the North and back in time for sunset. We traveled at about 30 mph, bouncing from one wave to the next and getting sprayed frequently by seawater. Out of five in our family, 2 got seasick. if you're the last to get on the boat, you will sit in the front row without any protection from the sun or rain. It was cloudy the evening we went. No sunset to see, so the captain brought us back early.

The experience was poor on a number of levels. 1) Kauai Sea Tours booked too many people for the size of the boat. The seating was supposed to be three people per bench, but at best that would seat about 30 passengers. There were 36 or more on our tour. By the time it was our turn to board, there were no places for our family to sit close to one another, and people had to sit back on the sides of the boat or stand near the bridge area. Making matters worse, a number of larger guests were boarded first, taking more than their allotted space, and the crew made no effort to ask them to try and accommodate others. 2) We got off to a rough start as the crew had trouble with one of the engines and we sat at the pier for 20+ minutes while they got it running....better there than out to see, but a frustrating wait. 3) The boat is too small for the conditions/theme of the tour. This isn't billed as a "high adventure" tour...we were expecting a relaxing sunset tour with dinner/drinks. Even in mild seas, we were jostled and drenched pretty much continuously for the first 2/3 of the trip, until we turned back to port. Numerous participants were seasick and miserable as it was a rough ride the whole way. Yes, the tour states "plan on getting wet" but it was pretty much non-stop for the majority of the trip and there was no place on the small boat to seek shelter. 4) "Dinner" was a paltry serving of average pork or chicken over rice, and a tiny salad. Pretty much minimum effort on the food. 5) On the bright side the three crew members were genuinely nice and did their best despite the less than ideal conditions, and of course the scenery is spectacular. I thought about giving it a second star just because the guys were good, but the overall experience doesn't warrant any more credit. My advice is to spend your money elsewhere....the larger catamarans that were on the same route were much more stable, and the guests ride much higher off the water, so they were not soaked non-stop, and are much more relaxing trips.
