We forecast cloud and auroras to ensure we are going to see Aurora. With our key locations and experience we will view the Northern Lights or you can come out viewing with us again for free within the next 30 days as part of our Aurora Guarantee Policy**

Gold, Gold, Gold! Alaska is known for oil and gold. Our guides are familiar with gold panning and the man who first discovered gold in July 1902, starting the Fairbanks Gold Rush. This monument is one of many treasures we are happy to share whenever possible with guests. Please remember we go where the clear skies are and not all guests have the same locations to visit. If you want to learn about Alaskan History, ask our wonderful guides who are happy to share both personal and historical facts and stories.

Alyeska Pipeline Viewing Point

Here at Aurora in Alaska we go to the best cloud free location each night. One of our favorites stops along the way is the awe-inspiring and historical Alyeska Pipeline. Whenever possible our guides happily share our Alaskan history with oil and take guests up close and personal to the pipeline.

At first I wasn’t hopeful because the past couple nights were a bust but the sky cleared and the lights were amazing! They have a really nice set up with a trailer with snacks & hot drinks. There’s also a warm room inside the trailer for those too cold - additionally there was a park bathroom close by. They took great photos of us out on the frozen lake and we got unforgettable memories!!

I had an absolutely incredible experience on the Northern Lights tour! From start to finish, everything was perfectly organized. The structure of the tour was spot on, with a carefully chosen spot to fully enjoy and appreciate the breathtaking displays of color in the sky. The guides were fantastic—knowledgeable, friendly, and genuinely passionate about sharing their love for the Northern Lights. They kept us engaged throughout the tour, sharing fascinating facts and stories about the phenomenon. They also made sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed to fully enjoy the experience. A special shout-out to the photographers on the tour. They were incredibly skilled and knew exactly how to capture the perfect shots, while still making sure we had time to take in the moment ourselves. They were also happy to help take photos of us with the lights in the background, which made for some amazing memories. Overall, this tour exceeded my expectations. If you're looking for an unforgettable Northern Lights experience with top-notch guides and photographers, this is the tour to choose!

Let me start by saying we were unfortunate, the weather didn’t cooperate and there was cloud cover. But it’s important not to blame the messenger. The two guys that we had Andrew and Tony were committed and helpful and conscientious. They were determined and frustrated that they couldn’t provide what they hoped the experience to be. I would definitely choose them again if I was staying in town longer because they’re very knowledgeable and experienced and friendly, et cetera.
