Our Tour Guide Tadeo was fantastic and took good care of our group. He was very bubbly, enthusiastic and made what would otherwise of been a very dull tour fun.
We were able to sample fried crickets in Mexican spices, take part in Tequila tasting and had a tradional lunch.
We found the tour had very little to see and if it wasn’t for Tadeo, we would of given it a lower score.
We had 30 minutes to browse 4 stores at the end of the tour. However, 10 minutes would be enough. It’s very uncomfortable walking around the stores as staff follow you trying to sell you products.
Bring comfortable shoes as there is a lot of walking.
This tour is advertised as
departing from the US side of the boarder but actually starts in the Mexican side. Our guide sent a text with instructions on how to cross the boarder 10 minutes before the start time and what he was wearing so we could identify him.
It really should be advertised as starting on the Mexican side for those who are from outside the US in case their phones are not working.
The walk over the border is easy enough and the guide was easy to spot.
Advertised as bottled water included but it was not so make sure you take some.
We started at 1pm and was back in the US at 5pm.
