Introduction à la visite à pied du quartier français

Aperçu
History, Architecture, and Creole Culture - this is a crash course on New Orleans! This is the best tour for people who want to know everything there is to know about the Crescent City. Our 2 hour, historical-walking tour has plenty of fun facts and true stories to entertain even the veteran visitor to the city.

We will answer often asked questions such as:
• Why build a city in a swamp?
• Why is it call it a po-boy sandwich?
• Was there really a streetcar named Desire?

The historic landmarks you will visit are:
• Jackson Square and the Saint Louis Cathedral
• Jean Lafitte's Blacksmith Shop Tavern
• First Pharmacy in the United States
• Old Ursuline Convent, the oldest building in New Orleans

*** We also offer an 8:00 AM, Early Bird Tour. Beat the heat and the crowds on this tour for the morning person. This time is also recommended for those photography-minded individuals. A Sunrise Option is available by request for a small additional fee (call for more information).***

Content was dry. The guide got visually upset multiple times at trivial things. When we asked questions that he didnt think were "good enough".... his tone would go left field. Honestly it was absolutely awkward.

Nice tour before the heat of the day. Guide was very knowledgeable. Wish I had known in advance two things: That I was the only one on the tour That many businesses in the are closed on Mondays & Tuesdays.

I went on the Historique Vieux tour in the French Quarter and I absolutely loved it! Carlo was an exceptional tour guide. He was extremely knowledgeable and engaging. I learned so much about the history of New Orleans, historical figures who contributed to the city, and famous restaurants. The price of the tour is great compared to other tour companies. When I return to New Orleans, I will be taking another Storyville Tour. I highly recommend this company!
