  • Safety of flight is our primary concern. The operator reserves the right to refuse service to passengers who are intoxicated or appear to be intoxicated. Intoxicated passengers will not fly and they will be charged in full.
  • For doors off tours, jackets and/or sweatshirts, closed toe shoes, and hair ties are required. Long pants are recommended.
  • When booking the doors off experience, your seat may or may not be directly adjacent to an open door.
  • Only passengers weighing 80 lbs or more may fly with the door off in our Robinson R44 helicopter. Only passengers weighing 100 lbs or more may fly with the door off in our Airbus Astar helicopter.
  • All passengers 24 months and older must purchase a full fare seat.
  • For each guest weighing 260 pounds or more, a weight and balance fee is required to safely balance the aircraft. For guests weighing between 260-279 lbs, a fee in the amount of 50% of the seat price will be assessed after booking. For guests weighing 280 lbs or higher, an additional seat purchase will be assessed after booking.

For someone who doesn't like flying this was a real challenge for me! The staff were great and super enthusiastic but I was a bit concerned when they didn't check either myself or my husbands safety belts when we got on board. I can only hope/assume that the pilot can see if they are not correctly on? I must have checked mine 100 times before take-off. I was terrified for the first few minutes then the beautiful views thankfully distracted me. The costline was one thing but those chiseled mountains are spectacular & breathtaking even with a little rain. The only other moments of slight terror was a little turbulence and banking around my side over the Stairway to Heaven path (which is now illegal to climb, even though there were people on it! Crazy scary path on knife edge ridges) And the beautiful Sacred Waterfall which disappeared hundreds of feet below us into darkness (the mountains are that chiseled you can't always see land below)... Our pilot was great and very knowledgeable. For me this flight was the absolute highlight of our trip and yes I'd do it again and again even with my fear of flying! Don't waste your money on overcrowded dinner cruises and Vegas productions of lu'au. ... Seriously do this instead.. worth every cent!

I really enjoyed the flight and the beautiful scenery. The employees were all very friendly and helpful. My only criticism would be that it was not easy for me to communicate with the other people in the helicopter...but that did not spoil my day!

45 mins doors off helicopter flight over Honolulu & surrounding coastal areas, valleys where Lost & Jurassic Park were filmed just amazing vistas, the coast is breathtaking the water the most amazing aqua blue if you like helicopter flying you will be fully impressed, great staff & Mighty Mike our pilot awesome
