Let me begin by saying that I love ghost tours and have quite a few under my belt. This ghost tour is for people who enjoy ghost hunting. I prefer a ghost tour that is focused on storytelling and history. If you want someone to provide you with light history prompts as you scan the area with EMF readers, this is for you. I would have enjoyed the tour more if it had a better balance between the ghost hunting and the history storytelling aspect. If I'm ever in Jerome again I will take the history tour instead.

Hello, thank you for the feedback. I appreciate you being fair and reasonable with the 3 star. I have taken just about every ghost tour in the country. I designed my ghost tours off of those experiences. As you mentioned you prefer a ghost tour that focuses on storytelling and history. I agree that most ghost tours tell history and ghost stories. For that reason, I felt that the tours were more of a history tour, less active and non engaging. When I designed my ghost tours I kept this all in mind and wanted to redesign, revolutionize the ghost tour if you will. I focus on the history that involves the towns tragedies that are directly linked to the spirits that we are ghost hunting for. In addition, I like to add in the ghost hunting equipment for a hands on and interactive experience that can be very exciting at times. I agree and think a history tour would have satisfied your interest. To each their own. Everyone has their preference. The reason I put my own twist on the ghost tour is personal. I started to see and hear spirits at the age of 3. My mother, brothers and sister all had the ability as well. Growing up the paranormal was a big part of my child hood. It is something I am familiar with and like to share with others. To make them think and question what is out there on the other side. I want people to experience what I have. Therefore, I adjusted my ghost tour to be more engaging and hands on. Once again, I appreciate you being reasonable by giving a 3 star as it was not your preferred taste. Perhaps I will make the description of the tour a little more clear regarding the ghost hunt. If you do return to Jerome I would love to give you a history tour. We offer 25% off for returning customers. I would offer a bit more since my ghost tour was not ideal and maybe my history tour will make up for it. :)

My husband and I took the Jerome Ghost Walk and had the best time. Our guide Courtney was extremely knowledgeable, did a great job explaining everything in a compelling way and was easy to talk to. We had so much fun learning more about the dark and fascinating town history and how to use the paranormal investigation equipment. We had a couple of spooky encounters! Definitely recommend checking this out of you're in the area.

This tour was not what we expected. We've taken many ghost tours in many cities and this one was definitely below average. There was so little history of the area or the town that there was no context for the "ghost hunting." It wasn't until we took other tours later in the week that we learned anything about Jerome. This tour would be best for those who want to play with the gadgets in the dark.

Sorry to hear you didn't fully enjoy your experience. Everyone has an opinion. The vast majority of reviews reflect the complete antithesis of your comments. It's just like how the comedian Bill Burr said every time someone has something negative to say they start by explaining how much of a professional they are on the subject. I too have taken many tours across the country and base my tour off of those experiences. Many customers have as well and tell us that our tour is better than others. Most tours are a simple walk around telling partial history and ghost stories. We too give partial history about the town that evolves around the events regarding the spirits and ghost stories but in addition to that we pass out quality ghost hunting equipment to each guest and have exclusive locations to enter. Same equipment that is used on Ghost Adventures or Ghost Hunters and customers love the hands on equipment. The Ghost Walk starts off by giving the history on the town of Jerome, the United Verde Copper Company, the first hospital and the Holy family Church and the tragedies around those locations which leads into how people died there, and then we ghost hunt attempting to make contact. To say there was no context or history is a fable on your part. There is absolutely context for ghost hunting it couldn't be more obvious unless you just were not paying attention. If you wanted the full history of Jerome then I believe booking the Jerome History Walk or the Wild Wild West Tour would have been in order. I always felt that other ghost tours around the country were more of a history tour then a ghost tour and could be less engaging. My history tours are full history and the ghost tours are partial history, ghost stories and a ghost hunt which most find interactive and engaging. Sounds like the tour was not what you expected because you booked the wrong tour. If you want history book a history tour. If you want a ghost and paranormal tour book a ghost tour.
