Our guide, Maria Isabella, with her 35 years of tour guide history, was exceptional and extremely conscientious of my handicap. I am partially paralyzed on the right side of my body. My son was with me so he knew what I was capable of and he assisted me every step of the way. In high school I learned to rock climb and repell all over New Mexico, Colorado, Arizona & part of Utah. But I always wanted to go to Jashua Tree. I had a cerebral hemorrhage 3.5 years ago that caused a stroke and left me paralyzed on the right side. It was fascinating to see the trees and it brought back wonderful memories of my climbing years. My only regret is that when it came to saying goodbye to Isabel I didn't have my wallet close by to give her a the nice big tip that she definitely deserved. My son only had $15 in wallet to give her. She deserved 4 times that.
