Ici, les roches semblent s'équilibrer précairement les unes sur les autres dans un combat entre la gravité et les forces souterraines. Une promenade guidée facultative de 30 minutes est faite ici.

Our driver/tour guide (Bruce) was a great guy! He was polite, engaging and extremely knowledgeable with the area to include the history and science of the landscape and the plant life. 1 piece of advice. If you're thinking about stopping by for the post tour lunch at the cowboy bar, make sure you that you have plenty of time. We actually got there around 12:15 pm and it was already packed full of people. We ordered simple burgers and we did not get our food until an hour later. The food was just average and nothing to write home about. Obviously this has nothing to do with the tour company. Overall a great tour and worth the money

Jeff, our guide was excellent. He made the whole tour a blast. He even took the time to build a special playlist to create an even better experience. He was very knowledgeable and went above and beyond to make sure we all had a great time. I would highly recommend both Jeff and the tour.

We very disappointed in the Joshua Tree Backroads tour. There was nothing ‘backroads’ about it! We were a group of 5 going to visit Joshua Tree, 3 of us had been before, 2 had not. One of the first timers had heard about seeing the park by hummer, we all thought that would be fun despite having 2 vehicles among us. The misconception was that by doing this tour we would get to & see places that you can’t by car. Well that was definitely not the case. In fact, we saw about 30% of what anyone can see by driving through on your own & the tour was on the paved roads. Not sure what the purpose of being in a hummer was. The hummer was anything but luxury & the audio system was not working so we got none of the ‘educational’ part of the tour. The park is definitely worth seeing every visit to Palm Springs but I would not recommend this tour. Anyone would be far better to rent a car, stop at the visitors center at the west gate entrance to get some info & advice on how to explore the park that best suits your time & activity level.

Valued customer, Please bear in mind that the Joshua Tree National Park nearly 800,000 acres with countless opportunities for outdoor fun for all kinds of individuals with different interests and skill sets. The overwhelming majority of our guests appreciate our tour because our guides have the ability to tailor the itinerary based on variables that are unique to you. I put one of my best guides on your tour. He described your group as "delightful". He recalls after a quick stop for pictures at Quail Springs, he specifically asked your group about how much walking you would like to do as opposed to off-roading, even asking how many steps you usually calculate as "ideal" by the end of the tour. The response was, and I quote my guide, "10,000". His response, "Well, bearing that in mind, I recommend going to Barker Dam. About four weeks ago, we had a natural event, our 50-year flood! There is a rare sight of water like a reflection pool in the middle of the desert. The photo opps will be worth the extra steps we take." (See photo). The guide also concluded that 12:30 was an ideal time to arrive at your lunch venue in order to keep a respectful schedule for the other two ladies (not part of your group) on your tour. After coming off of your "event hike", he noted the time and opted for the shorter offroad trail, Bighorn Pass, to stay on the optimum schedule. He admits now, this was his error. In retrospect, he feels he should have taken the longer backcountry trail to Eureka Peak rather than the faster paved trail to Keys View. I stand behind my guide and I trust him. I would put his judgement is in the category of experts, but obviously not flawless. For those reading to the end of this response and with these types of expectations, I recommend the option of upgrading to a PRIVATE tour. The guide doesn't have to take into account the wishes of others on your tour that don't coincide with yours. The guide can completely cater to your interests and capabilities. We at Adventure Hummer Tours take your criticism and move onward and upward. Kindest regards to you.
