I really enjoyed the Luau, thank you! I brought my almost 2yr old son and was a little worried if he would make it through the evening or not. There was plenty of time for him to run around and check things out, and the fire show kept him interested long enough to make it way past his normal bed time. Highly recommend this evening to everyone! We did the celebrity package so we would be up close for him to see everything.

We bought 3 tickets through the chase portal and were happy about getting a good deal as the cash price is outrageous - esp. considering what you get (food and drink wise). We got the middle section/seating - which got us an extra drink ticket and 2nd in line for food. You get to hang out in the snack area beforehand and they do a fair job of keeping you entertained - you can buy drinks up to a certain point and then they shut that down.. The tables jam in too many chairs - honestly there is room for them to spread out and add a few more tables to NOT do this - you can't hardly move and then the table clothes are secured to the ground so you can't get your legs under the table very easily. I hated this and two simple solutions to make their guests more comfortable! They have some activities to do beforehand but poorly set up - everything laid out on the ground - set some tables up so ppl don't need to get on the ground to make a craft!? We did one or two - but, since they were crowded and on the ground we just sat at our table... The food - well, so you have a different wrist band on according to when you get to go get in line... NO ONE monitors this and I saw plenty of the last group go up before us (2nd group). So much for that. Its a buffet line and they did keep up on replenishing it. Honestly, nothing was very good. We thought we would get to see them carve the pig that was supposedly cooked in the ground?! Nope. Drinks - now, we got 2 drinks per person for our ticket class. My son was drinking the free punch so that meant my husband & I got 3 drinks each. He had 3 beers and I got three mai tais - these drinks were so weak that even after 3 I didn't feel a thing!? LOL - I wasn't looking to get drunk -but, for real? Cheap cheap booze. And long lines to boot! The entertainment was actually very good and this saved the night as a complete loss. They did a nice job - esp. the fire guys! Its a one and done for this family! (normal cost was over $300 - w/ chase redemption we paid ~ $150)

My boyfriend and I purchased the classic package via groupon and saved a bit of money so definitely check around online for some discounts. We were seated all the way in the back but I honestly did not mind it at all. We just pulled our chairs off to the side and further back (after the initial fire dance where you have to stay seated) and we saw everything fine. Okay. Everyone who is saying that this was a tourist trap and this was not a traditional luau... what did you expect? You're at the Sealife Park. It's suppose to be catered to tourists. It's a little cheesy but it's fun! The food is good not great but what really sold me was the staff. They were super nice and definitely had the aloha spirit. We even got the extra flower leis at the end of the luau and the staff was more than happy to take a photo with us. It was an awesome night and I had a blast.
