Would highly recommend this tour! Learned a lot about the cacao trees, process of growing and had a great chocolate tasting to round out the tour. Our guides were the best and very knowledgeable.

The orchard is lovely and tour is very interesting. The guides, Katie and Max are highly knowledgeable (Max has a background in agriculture). The experience was personalized and well designed with explanations and tastings of pods, beans, nibs—all part of the cacao lifecycle. The end of the tour is a family style tasting of the various products of the orchard and it is a worthy payoff. Note: this is not an “off the bus run into the shop tourist stop.” It’s the real deal and highly recommended for the truly interested visitor.
