Kayak ou Stand Up Paddle Board Island et exploration de la faune

I’ll give you a brief introduction on the basics of paddleboarding and kayaking before we head out onto the water to explore a lush mangrove jungle. As we wind our way through narrow canals, we’ll be on the lookout for all different types of wildlife including; manatees, iguanas, birds, crabs, fish, raccoons even possibly dolphins. We’ll explore the natural wonders of the area for a couple hours before making our way into so mangrove tunnels where we will relax, swim and enjoy a delicious fresh fruit snack and drinks . Including; watermelon, cantaloupe, banana. Drinks included and totally free all you can drink; beer, hard seltzers and water. After we are all full and everyone is ready to go we will head back to shore. There is never a rush for time. Please keep in mind the manatees and dolphins we are spotting are wild animals roaming a large area. They are seen less often in the summer months. Don't worry there will still be many beautiful plants and animals to see and learn about.

There is no bathroom available during the tour as we will be on a kayak/SUP. Bathrooms are available before and after tour.

This trip was absolutely amazing! Our guide Adam was helpful and really fun. Highly recommend this activity! There were so many raccoons to feed and there’s nothing cuter than a raccoon taking a grape with their tiny little hands.

Save your money and go elsewhere!!! You get on a tiki boat to take you to a pontoon boat where you will be given life jackets and an extremely short course on how to paddle your kayak. I felt sorry for the folks who had never kayaked before - they didn't know what to do and were not given any additional instruction in the water. We did travel through the mangrove which was interesting, but only saw a few tree crabs. The drinks were all warm - no ice in the coolers. We then paddled over to an island. My husband and I did not get out of the kayak because there is no way we were going to be that close to raccoons. Be warned - if you don't know - raccoons carry diseases and the ones on this island grabbed at people's hands!!! The guide cut up a watermelon for a snack with a dirty knife on top of a dirty cooler. No thank you! The worst part is traveling to the site. We left our resort with an hour travel time that ended up taking 3 hours because one of the major bridges was closed! We called the owner several times and he assured us everything would be okay. Well - okay in his mind was to charge us another $98 to "reschedule", siting a 50% rescheduling fee, even though our original cost was $156. We feel deceived and cheated by this company. The guides repeatedly ask for tips, even though their service was lacking. Really - don't bother with this experience. Definitely NOT a good one.

This experience was so much fun. The mangrove jungle is so cool. Raccoon island was very busy but we still were able to see and feed some raccoons. Sean and Isabelle were our guides and they were both so awesome.
