Scorton Creek

The Cape Cod Explorer tour operates exclusively in the Game Creek Conservation land. It is a beautiful tidal flat called Scorton Creek that is fed from Cape Cod Bay and is part of the Great Marsh eco-system. There is a amazing amount of bird activity, wildlife, and overall nature to view throughout our tour. This area consists of salt water, brackish water, and fresh water so the variation of plant and wildlife is astounding!

The guide was terrific and so was the scenery. However, I recommend changing the time to an earlier launch to avoid the low tides as we had a time getting stuck with the kayaks due to the low tide.

My husband and I took a guided kayak trip with Rideaway Adventures in June. We learned a lot and enjoyed the kayaking marshes. I researched Cape Cod guided kayak trips, and this one caught my eye because of the marsh area and the length of the trip was perfect for us. The guide was informative and helpful. I thought the check in went smoothly. Highly recommend!
