Kealakekua Snorkel and Sail Adventure

Join us aboard our luxurious 50’ catamaran “Kona Style”, as we sail the Kona coast.  Scan the horizon for dolphins and whales (seasonal) from our shaded cabin or sunny splash nets.  Snorkel calm waters and lush coral gardens using our grand staircase for the easiest water entry/exit in the industry.  Brilliant reef fish, sea turtles and Hawaiian storytelling around every corner.  This executive adventure includes a continental breakfast with 100% Kona coffee, freshly baked pastries and parfait, along with sandwiches, chips, pasta salad for lunch.  All non-alcoholic beverages including water, juice and soft drinks are complimentary and we have the best liquor prices of any boat in Kona with beer, wine and liquor available for purchase.  All snorkel equipment, floaties and instruction provided. We are a native Hawaiian owned and operated company.

  • Not recommended for travelers with poor cardiovascular health
  • Not recommended for travelers with spinal injuries
  • Not recommended for pregnant travelers
  • Travelers should have at least a moderate level of physical fitness
  • Children must be accompanied by an adult
  • Minimum drinking age is 21 years
  • Please advise any specific dietary requirements at time of booking. Gluten free and vegetarian options are available with at least 48 hours advance notice.
  • A minimum of 2 people per booking is required
  • Guests that will be snorkeling or getting in the water during the tour MUST KNOW HOW TO SWIM without the assistance of a flotation device
  • If guest is not a competent swimmer (as determined by the Captain and/or crew), they will be directed to immediately return to the vessel. In such instances the guest will NOT be refunded
  • Children under the age of 5 are required to stay on boat (not allowed in the water) and must be accompanied by an adult at all times on the vessel
  • Guests are asked to check-in at our retail outlet 45 MINUTES PRIOR to your scheduled departure time. We are located in the Kona Square Shopping Complex. Our address is 75-5669 Alii Drive, #1107, Kailua-Kona, HI 96740
  • We offer discounted parking at the Courtyard Marriott King Kamehameha Hotel. The fee for validation is written on the exclusion section. Please remember to bring your parking ticket with you to check-in if you plan on using this option.
  • PLEASE NOTE that full-face snorkel masks are NOT allowed to be used by guests
  • The vessel is not handicap accessible
  • Guests weighing more than 300 lb (136 kg) are NOT allowed in the water as our water entry / exit staircase has a specific weight limit

The crew was very attentive, the boat was comfortable (enough). (I have personally never been that comfortable on a boat) The snorkeling was amazing. Clear water, many fish, eels and other creatures. No rush on the snorkel, the rest of the time was relaxing on the boat. A good trip, I will suggest to others.

We had a lovely day. We appreciated all of this: a family business, very organized, safety conscious, an experienced, knowledgeable skipper and crew, a clean boat and good food. The snorkelling was fabulous as well.

I live on the Big Island, and can snorkel anytime, but when I want to treat a mainland visitor to a truly awesome experience, I trust the Kona Style captains and crews to deliver every time! They know the ancient legends and are generous with their knowledge. They are careful to instruct us about caring for the a’ina (land) and sea, and make sure every is safe and comfortable aboard the vessel. Their equipment is top notch and well maintained, so you never have to worry about getting a surprise while you’re having fun.The crews are exceptionally friendly and engaging, and I’ll never pass up a chance to have an adventure with Kona Style!
