The Good: The experience at Kennedy was amazing. First we saw the launch. The kids loved it and it inspired them, I believe. The main takeaway from Kennedy was that failure is not an option, nothing is impossible. I believe that this generation isn’t exposed enough to feats of human achievement and this was a great example of what people can accomplish.
The Bad: TripAdvisor sold us tickets that were already sold and used THE DAY BEFORE we showed up. So after we went to Will Call and then the gate, they informed us that they have already been scanned and then treated us—at the gate—like we were crooks trying to get an extra day. It was also raining at this time, FL weather, so the other four members of my family stood in the rain for an hour. One of them is special needs.
Fortunately, a woman at Will Call understood. I showed her the emails from TripAdvisor and the ticket they sent us. She had to get several approvals which took some time, but ultimately comped us five tickets. Sure, it was a delay and we probably could have seen one or two more exhibits by the time the center closed, but we are thankful for everything that we did see.
I recommend Kennedy to anyone! Still on the fence about TripAdvisor though. Used TA for the trolley tour in St. Augustine and that worked out fine. So far, they’re 50%….
