Having lived through much of the space program, both my wife and I were eager to see the Space Center...eager enough to not be daunted by the $50+ price tag per person. Best thing we ever did, and more than worth the cost. Disney has its rides, as does Universal; Sea World has its fish; and the Icon has its giant Ferris Wheel and exhibits of its own, but the Kennedy Space Center has the spirit of humankind, its hopes, it's restless wanderlust, its determination to "do" because we "will." To try to describe it would not do justice to the awesome impact of the presentations, including the actual spaceship Atlantis which flew missions for many years, or the video clips that brought out the very human qualities of the people involved in the space program. Then there is the size of everything. B.I.G. Very Big. As I sit here, I find myself at a loss for words to describe everything. Perhaps it is because the whole exhibit is more of an awareness and an understanding of something bigger than just the things there, it is the awareness of the hope that echoes Robert Browning's "[man's] reach should always exceed his grasp," and a promise to find out just what the heavens are for. Go see it. As always, these reviews are credited to my wife, but are written by her husband whose wife is somewhat surprised that her husband has run out of descriptive words.

We arrived quite early and started with the bus tour. Even with few people in line, it took a long time to get on board. The trip itself was actually not very impressive, there where to many places to visit and mostly we just got an impression of the dimensions of the place. My suggestion is to limit the places to see and spend more time to give information each place. The rest of the experience was great. Films were educating and fascinating. Most interesting to us was the display of Atlantis. I never dreamed that the shuttle was so big. The "Trip (launch) of the shuttle was fun.

There was not enough information regarding downloading the tickets, The first website was incorrectly stated "DOWN LOAD TICKETS', but it was actually just for down loading the invoice. The website needs to be corrected to state that! I got to the KSC and learned that I didn't have the tickets and that I should download them from my email. After abut a hour of waiting in line at the WILL CALL window and finally getting through to you, a helpful agent was able to download my tickets You need to change your first website, as stated above, to avoid the problem for the next customer.
