Snorkeling is fun, safe, and easy aboard the Sundiver III. Join us for a 2.5 hour underwater tour to the shallow, inner, coral reefs located at the "World Famous" Key Largo National Marine Sanctuary, also known as the original John Pennekamp State Park. Our friendly crew specializes in kids, families, and first time snorkelers. You will be absolutely amazed at the underwater world that lives just offshore of Key Largo. High quality rental gear (mask, fins, float vest) is INCLUDED with all snorkel tours provided by Sundiver.

We sell very affordable high quality souvenir snorkels made of 100% silicone available in many colors. Available for purchase during check in.

Did not know where to go to snorkel at Pennekamp Park, so we called the service offered in the park itself. We got a total runaround, were told the tour may or may not go based on a required number of participants etc. We drove to the park, paid the $9 to get in , and checked in an hour early. The company would still not commit to going, stating it would be close, and to check back in an hour. In frustration, we called Sundiver. They said they were a definite go regardless of how many snorkelers showed up. We left the Park, drove to the office across the street from the park, took care of check in quickly, and at 3 PM we were on board a spotless clean boat enroute to the reef. The experience was a trip highlight, flawless service, and a great pre-snorkel safety briefing. I saw 2 large barracuda, jellyfish, and more fish than I could describe in crystal clear waters, and was allowed to snorkel until exhausted. I highly recommend this company, and avoid the Pennekamp Park services, who behave like typical government services and seem as though they dont care and are more concerned with getting off work than helping potential customers.

I snorkled Sat. 8/20. I had been watching to see if the weather was going to cooperate and when the day began sunny I immediately called Sundivers (as compared to our resort, Ocean Reef, Sundiver's price was $25 cheaper!) They were pleasant on the phone and told me I could get on the noon boat if I arrived by 11 to claim my spot. I appreciate not having to give the cc # before then and not be out the money if something happens and you don't make it!! My name was on the list when I arrived at their shop in Key Largo and it was an easy process to get my ticket for the boat. Then it was a three mile or so travel time down the road to begin the tour. We were given lots of instructions on the boat altho they need a mike or megaphone because my side of the boat could hear little because his back was to us. Anyway,all was still good and we were warned that we would see jellyfish and given some advice on how to avoid them. A couple of people did get stung, but I found the jellyfish were not near the reef but more near the boat. So it was key to stay where they weren't! All in all, a very good time although it would be nice to have snorkled at more than just one stop. I think for the price (and use their internet coupon) it's a good deal!!

We took the Sundiver III snorkeling tour a few days ago in Key Largo. We paid over $150 for a family of four. AFTER we paid, boarded, and went all the way out to the reef, the captain told us then that the ocean was the second worst he has seen in 26 yrs. to have a jellyfish infestation. They should have told us that information BEFORE hand. How sneeky! When asked how long it has been this bad, the captain said for the last 10 days. We spent more time sitting on the boat than what we did in the water. Very disappointing. Next time we come to Key Largo, we won't snorkel with Sundiver again.

We at Sundiver are very sorry about the Jellyfish issue you had out at the reef. This was so UNCOMMON for this time of year and caused a problem for all the snorkel boats. I am sorry if you feel we were being "Sneaky" but we were not. I promise we always tell our customers the truth on the current conditions and this mishap is unfortunate. We have been in business for over 30 years and have seen weird things happen along the way with the weather and wildlife, but NEVER have we put anyone in harm’s way or had any injuries of any kind and this is something we stand by and proud of. We are sorry for this misunderstanding and want to make it up to you if you ever make it back to the Keys. We want you to feel you spent your hard earned money for something worth it so there will be no charge for you and your family. We want to make you happy. In our book the customer is ALWAYS right and we stand by that statement....
