Key West Ghost and Mysteries Tour

Check-in for the ghost tour is no later than 8:45 at the corner of Duval and Caroline Street in front of the Porter Mansion on the Duval Street side. Just past the graveyard is the Dean-Lopez Funeral Home. This stop is where the strange tale of Count Von Cosel and Elana is related. This story is stranger than fiction, but it's all true and documented. You now will wind back around to the La Concha Hotel and hear what happened at the tallest building in Key West. It's a ghostly tale, but not what you probably think. Next the tour moves to the Oldest House and Gardens to explore the grounds at the back of the house, and hear stories about the family who lived here and learn about the many ghostly sightings. This is the most active location on the tour and many guests get pictures on their cameras. Finally, the tour moves inside to hear the chilling tale of a prominent Key West family at their former residence. As the tour concludes, there is time for stories and picture sharing. Wonderful historic facts and folklore of Olde Key West! A walking tour late at night on the streets, alleys, and backyards of Key West with Sue an experienced local Historian and College Professor ! Known History and Folklore Expert on the Island. Sue is a Captive Story teller of Pirates, Ships, Buildings ; the people who lived; and the spirits who remained. I was encouraged to take many photos in succession to capture the orbs and a glimpse of the supernatural. Very exciting and interesting! A real night time adventure. Thank you Sue I learned a lot and had a blast! My visiting friends and I loved it and Sue you were great! Thanks .

We were a bit nervous for our daughters to go on this late evening walking tour but they LOVED it. Our youngest (6) was very nervous at the beginning but was trying to take pictures of ghosts by the end of the night! We all thought our guide, Ted, was an excellent story teller and has a lot of interest in paranormal research. It was an excellent tour of haunted Key West!

We've done a bunch of ghost tours in different cities, but this was especially interesting because our guide, Ted, works in the paranormal. In addition to being a great story teller and historian, Ted taught us about detection techniques and even let us use some of the equipment. It is a fascinating, intriguing tour. Ted also gives great advice for things to do and vendors to use in town. We used all of his suggestions and were very, very pleased. Highly recommend the tour and Ted!
