Key West Ghost and Mysteries Tour

Check-in for the ghost tour is no later than 8:45 at the corner of Duval and Caroline Street in front of the Porter Mansion on the Duval Street side. Just past the graveyard is the Dean-Lopez Funeral Home. This stop is where the strange tale of Count Von Cosel and Elana is related. This story is stranger than fiction, but it's all true and documented. You now will wind back around to the La Concha Hotel and hear what happened at the tallest building in Key West. It's a ghostly tale, but not what you probably think. Next the tour moves to the Oldest House and Gardens to explore the grounds at the back of the house, and hear stories about the family who lived here and learn about the many ghostly sightings. This is the most active location on the tour and many guests get pictures on their cameras. Finally, the tour moves inside to hear the chilling tale of a prominent Key West family at their former residence. As the tour concludes, there is time for stories and picture sharing. We went on the ghost tour in July and enjoyed it. Our tourguide was Ted and he did an amazing job. Two of our group(we we're with 5), are skeptics but we still had fun. If you do this tour in summer, it is a good idea to bring a cold drink with you, because the tour takes place outside and it can get quite hot! Also make sure you wear comfortable shoes, because it is a walking tour and you don't want your feet to hurt.

Thank You for joining us on the Key West Ghost & Mysteries Tour. We do recommend bringing along a bottle of water as we are in the Tropics, but the tour is a leisurely stroll in the most haunted area of old town. There are a number of fascinating haunts throughout the island, but only so many we can share in a 90 minute tour! I'm glad to hear you enjoyed the stroll!

First let me start by saying the Ghost tour was amazing !! My husband was skeptical. .. my pictures proved him wrong. Our group had an awesome time and our guide was the bomb !! If you are thinking of going make sure Ted is on for the evening. .. Very informative !! As others have said wear your walking shoes and bring water. When your guide tells you to take pictures. ... Take lots and I mean lots of pictures. Even when you think you might not have anything, wait until you get home and see for yourself. Sincerely, A true believer

My husband and I brought our skeptic friends with us on this walking tour. Southernmost Ted was our guide. As someone that truly believes in the paranormal, I truly loved that Ted stopped the children on our group from being distracting. His love and respect for the paranormal mirrors ours. We went to the Artist House which is always a great story but my favorite place was the old theater. My skeptic friends had experiences which freaked them out 😃 We also enjoyed the history of every stop. I've read the reviews here, and this tour lived up to its reputation. Those expecting to see the boogie man should go on the ghost and gravestone trolley.
