We generally try to do some type of tour wherever we travel. It's a great way to learn about an area in short order. For me, this tour fell short but it was not because we didn't have great tour guides...because we did. We started with a gentleman from Bar Harbor and ended with Johnny (I believe). They were both enjoyable! But the history portion of this ride, which is what I mostly enjoy, was lacking. There was more information about bars and restaurants than real history and that is just not something that interests me. Don't get me wrong...we did learn about real historical things but for the money, I thought it was lacking compared to my other tour experiences. But I also recognize that the bars and the restaurant scene could be the highlight of Key West and something most people are interested in that vacation here. So my conclusion is that in light of the cost, it was not worth it from an information-gathering perspective. From a transportation perspective, it is very nice to be able to get off and back on around town and that is, of course, worth something.
