We arrived in Key West via Key West Express. Key West Trolley was too far away from the Key West Express dock. Trolley maps are useless. Key West Express is not on them.
After arrival in Key West at noon, we wasted an hour trying to find a Trolley stop. Got on and rode through 3 stops to the Butterfly House, and was on the way to Hemingway house, when at 4:30 pm the driver announced no more trolleys!. And the driver didn't know where Grinnell St. was, so he couldn't give us directions to the Key West Express dock. It took another 45 minutes to find Grinnell St. (5:15 pm) when we heard the Express sounding the last boarding call horn. We almost missed the boat back to Ft. Myers!
P.S. We paid $50 for the Trolley and didn't even make it around Key West once! Never again.
I would NOT recommend the Trolley to anyone using Key West Express. Better to take the $39.95 Train which begins/ends a few blocks from the boat. Plus boat staff actually walk you to the train station.
