I was walking to my daughter’s car after my flight with a toddler at my side and a heavy backpack on my back. I am 72 . Thus , I don’t walk as fast as I used to. My grandson who was holding my hand said why is mommy driving off and I said I have no idea because she told us to come outside. I was walking very slowly because I had hurt my back carrying my heavy backpack. My daughter said she saw me but the guard would not listen to her and told her to move anyway. I then went back inside and waited inside because I didn’t want a toddler to get hit by a car outside. As soon as she pulled up after having to circle around I went to the car and at this point the guard wrote her up a ticket right in front of me as I was about to open the door. I said why are you writing a ticket and he said I was not outside! I explained I was inside the door because of not wanting a small child to run in from of a car. I told him I was outside and walking to her car when he was writing the ticket. I said sorry if I walk slowly. The guard yelled at me and called me a name under his breath! He embarrassed me in front of my two toddler grandchildren who were walking to the car. I asked the guard if he could rip up the ticket because I was walking to the car as he was writing her a ticket. I said what about these other cars parked? There were two other cars parked and they were not loading. Other cars were double parked. A car in back of us had stopped and they were not loading anyone but because they were of a different color perhaps they were not issued a ticket? Another car was shut off and no one was even inside that car. I asked why they were not issued a ticket and he had no answer for us.
