A very enjoyable outing on a cloudy day in Hawaii. The rum is made from pure sugar cane. We learned about the different varieties of sugar cane as well as the distilling process. We also saw an example of a sustainable farm for growing lettuce in water pods. After the tour we tasted 4 kinds of rum as well as rum cake and honey!

The history of this place is so interesting and the rum was delicious. The tour guide gave us great information and knew a lot about all the different canes they had. This rum is one of the only rums that's made from straight cane rather than molasses or other processed sugars. We bought one of the rums that is made with cocoa and honey and it is one of the most delicious things ever.

The tour was great, lots of information about the origins of the sugar cane and the 30+ species of cane they have and are growing. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and the rum's were very tasty as well. Our even helped us fine a Pineapple Sake that my daughter was looking for and the location she suggested worked out and my daughter was very happy that we found it. I would recommend this.
